7 Jul 1897 – William E. McCormack married LaVina Jane Hemingway. LaVina was William’s second wife. They most likely married at the Hemingway home in Marathon Township where her immediate and extended family lived all over the township. She also gave her new husband a pocket watch as a wedding present. It is still in the family to this day!
