McCormack family important dates for March

I must apologize to all my readers and followers for not publishing anything so far this month!

I would like to “announce” the following dates for these members of the McCormack clan;

8 Mar 1868 – Minnie Myrtle Van Wormer was born in Milan, Michigan. She was the first wife of (Thomas) Henry McCormack. She would be 148 years and 17 days old!

11 Mar 1916 – Kathryn Elizabeth “Betty” Coon was born. Her mother was Grace Ellen McCormack, the eldest daughter of William E. McCormack. She was Michael and Catherine’s great granddaughter. She would be 100 years and 9 days old.

15 Mar 1956 – Merle Hemingway McCormack married Margaret “Margo” Yale.

16 Mar 1891 – Robert Henry Addy was born in Schenectady, New York. Robert would have been 124 years and 4 days old. Robert was the son of Delilah Elizabeth (McCormack) and Smith Addy.

17 Mar 1908 – Margaret Williams Murphy was born. Margaret would have been 108 years and 3 days old. She was the wife of Leon R. “Doc” Ingleright II.

18 Mar 1905 – Delilah Addy died. She was 50 years 5 months and 5 days old at the time of her death. She was the first daughter of Michael and Catherine. She is buried in the family plot at the Otter Lake Cemetery in Otter Lake, Michigan.

18 Mar 1899 – Edith Marie McCormack was born. Edith would have been 117 years and 2 days old. Marie was the daughter of (Thomas) Henry and Minnie (Van Wormer) McCormack and granddaughter  to Michael and Catherine.

23 Mar 1929 – John Michael McCormack died. He was 68 years, 11 months, 16 days old when he died.

31 Mar 1890 – William Edward McCormack was born. William would have been 125 years, 11 months, 20 days old at the end of this month. William was the son of Edward and Elizabeth (Dimmick) McCormack and grandson to Michael and Catherine.

  1. Appreciate all you do here, Jeff. One correction, in the March 18th section about Edith Marie McCormack you put her daughter’s name instead (Margaret) when you meant “Marie.” No big deal, just thought you should know. Thanks again!
