For today’s Treasure Chest Thursday post, I would like to share this “damaged” copy of a page from the Ypsilanti, Michigan directory. On this page, we have Michael McCormack (with the “ick” spelling) and his son, William.
First of all, I never should have highlighted with a marker and then taped over Michael and William’s names. I also do not have a year for the directory listing. Although given the timeline for both men, this listing would have to have been during the 1870s. I got this directory listing during one of my numerous trips to the Michigan Library in the early 1990s.
Thanks for stopping by!
